Movie: Paradise2023

In dystopian Berlin, the Aeon company has developed the technology to extract years from a person’s lifetime, and give said donated years to those who are compatible and able to afford the luxury. One donation manager, Max, lives a wonderful life with his wife Elena. One day, their apartment is destroyed in a fire, forcing the couple to pay off their bank loan debt with 38 years from Elena’s lifetime. When the man learns that the series of events leading to their misfortune might not be mere coincidence, he takes matters into his own hands, determined to retrieve what was unjustly taken from them.
